Hydroform presses unveiled
PRYER Technology Group (PTG), in conjunction with Beckwood Press Company, has unveiled its new triform sheet hydroform press. PTG had a live demonstration of Model 16-5BD at Fabtech, which has a 500 ton (5,000 PSI) capacity and is equipped with a 16" bladder diameter. PTG also featured a wide range of press examples and showcased a drawn part exhibit of products. The Triform family of hydroform presses utilises the latest computerised engineering software, modern hydraulics and advanced CNC styled controls. PTG has created compact hydroforming presses, focused on the sheet hydroforming industries. A wide range of material, bladder sizes and pressure sizes can be utilised, with or without a punch, for deep or shallow draw applications. The reduced weight and height of the press eliminates the need for special flooring. CNC programmability offers precision control of the process variables with complete diagnostic and recipe handling capabilities. |
